A fake crypto exchange screen that looks live: a candlestick chart that keeps moving, an order book, a list of market trades and a ticker strip of coins scrolling along the bottom. Put it on a monitor in the background of a film, an ad or a YouTube video, and the scene reads "trader" at a glance.
How to use it on set
- Open this page on the monitor that will be in the shot. For several monitors, open each screen in its own browser window.
- Press F or the fullscreen button. Move the mouse off the screen and the controls and cursor fade out after a few seconds.
- Turn on Do Not Disturb so no notifications pop up during a take, and set the display to 60 Hz.
- Frame your shot. If the screen flickers or shows lines on camera, see how to film a screen without flicker.
Making it look real
Real trading desks rarely show one screen. Put the trading screen on the main monitor and the stock market screen or a second window of this page on the one beside it. For a big win moment, cut to the crypto winner screen.
The chart and order book update a few times a second rather than every frame, so the numbers stay readable and do not shimmer on camera.
Good for
- Trader and finance scenes
- A desk at night, a hedge fund office, a crypto bro at home.
- YouTube and TikTok
- A background for finance, crypto and investing videos.
- Ads and music videos
- Moving market screens in the background without licensing real footage.
- Stage and events
- A big screen behind a speaker or on a set piece.
Questions
Can I show this screen in my video or film?
Every name, ticker, number and logo on it is made up, so there are no real brands or company interfaces on screen. Check your production's own clearance rules for anything you publish.
Are the prices real?
No. Prices follow a random walk that starts near realistic levels. They are not connected to any market and are not financial information.
Will it look the same in every take?
No. The numbers move on their own and never repeat exactly. If you need the same screen in every take, record it with a screen recorder once and play the recording back on set.
